Apex Legends Neon Network Event Dazzles Streamers and Fans
The Neon Network Collection Event Arrives in Apex Legends
Respawn Entertainment has launched the neon-drenched Neon Network Collection Event in Apex Legends, treating players to exciting new cosmetics, game modes, and more. Running from January 10th to January 24th, the event brings a bright pop of color to the Outlands with some electrifying additions.
Vibrant New Cosmetics
The star of the Neon Network Collection Event is the new Apex Legends Legend Catalyst. This defensive character can reinforce doors, create creeping crystal walls to block enemies, and even boost allies' shields with her abilities. Players can unlock Catalyst instantly by picking up the new Neon Bundle in the store.
In addition to the new Legend, the event introduces 24 event-limited neon cosmetics. These brightly colored skins allow players to light up the arena with shades of pink, blue, green and more. Some of the new hot looks include the Resolver flagged skins for Vantage and Revenant, Volt engraved skins for Wraith and Crypto, and Punk Rocket skins for Legends like Lifeline and Fuse.
Exciting LTMsNeon Primal
The Neon Network Collection Event is also debuting a new Limited-Time Mode called Neon Primal. In this LTM, wildlife and Prowlers will spawn more frequently across Kings Canyon at Night, adding some dangerous new threats for players to contend with.
Another LTM slated to hit Apex during the event is Gun Run. This 9v9 mode arms all players with the same weapon, then automatically upgrades everyone's gun each time a team reaches a certain amount of kills. The first team to get a kill with the final weapon, the Volt SMG, wins the match.
Reward Track and Event Packs
Players will have several chances to score exclusive cosmetics through Neon Network's reward tracks and event packs. The event introduces Epic-tier custom jackpot skins for Gibraltar and Revenant which can be earned by completing daily and weekly challenges.
The Alexander Nox REV-581 Prestige skin can also be obtained for free by finishing the event's Thematic Event track. And by collecting all 24 event packs, you can unlock the heirloom-tier Volt SMG Injection Gun Injector skin to really make your weapons shine.
