If you're looking for a place to come stunt, tumble, and play around in a massive cheerleading and gymnastics facility, Core Athletix Rochester's open gyms are for you! As the premier cheerleading gym in Upstate New York, our sprawling 42,500 square foot gym offers plenty of space to explore your skills in a safe and structured environment. Our open gyms are free of charge and open to all ages and ability levels - from aspiring cheerleaders working on their first back handspring to competitive athletes perfecting their standing double fulls, our open gyms have something for everyone. Open Gym Policies
To ensure the safety of all our athletes, we do enforce the following policies during open gyms:
- All participants must sign a waiver before their first open gym session
- Socks must be worn on the floors at all times
- No gum or food allowed on the floors
- Listen to and follow all coaching instructions
- Be respectful and share equipment
- No dangerous or inappropriate tricks
- Report any injuries immediately
Our experienced coaching staff will be on hand to monitor the gym and assist athletes as needed. We want our open gym to be a fun yet disciplined environment for cheerleaders of all ages to improve!
Open Gym Schedule
We offer open gyms several times a week on the following schedule:
- Mondays 7:30pm - 9:00pm
- Wednesdays 7:30pm - 9:00pm
- Fridays 6:00pm - 9:00pm
- Saturdays 12:00pm - 2:00pm
- Sundays 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Our Friday open gyms tend to be the most crowded, so come early if you want maximum time and space! We may close the gym early or cancel open gym dates on holidays, around competitions or during inclement weather, so be sure to follow us on Instagram or Facebook for announcements.
Open Gym Features
Our state-of-the-art facility was designed specifically with cheerleading in mind. During open gyms you'll have access to:
- Over 10,000 sq ft of spring floors for tumbling
- 60+ foot long tumble trampolines
- Spotted foam pits for trying new skills
- Rod floors for flyer training
- Stunt blocks, mats and other training tools
- In-ground trampolines
- A pro shop stocked with cheer gear
- Parent viewing areas
- Break rooms and locker rooms
With our huge gym and wealth of specialty equipment, the possibilities are endless during open gym. Come work on skills you can't do elsewhere or just have fun jumping, tumbling and flying in a padded paradise designed for cheerleaders!
Open Gym Memberships
While our open gyms are free for drop-ins, we do offer monthly and annual open gym membership options for frequent flyers looking for more convenience and flexibility:
- Monthly Open Gym Pass - $25/month. Gives you unlimited access to all open gym sessions.
- Annual Open Gym Pass - $200/year. Our best deal for unlimited open gym access.
Members can check-in quickly via key fob when they arrive and don't have to worry about bringing cash or signing waivers every visit. It's the ideal option for cheerleaders who want to make the most of our open gyms!
