When a 2010 Cadillac CTS-V rolled into the shop recently, it was clear the owner wanted to unlock some extra muscle from his already formidable ride. Setting the Stage

More boost means more power, but pushing too much boost through a supercharged engine without the proper supporting mods can lead to detonation or component failure. However with upgraded high-flow fuel injectors, an improved intercooler and lower temperature thermostat installed, the LSA was ready for more boost.

The power gains from the tuning adjustments and mods were significant, with rear-wheel horsepower and torque now measuring over 750 hp and 700 lb-ft respectively - enough to roast the wide rear tires. The owner was thrilled to have over 200 additional horsepower compared to stock.
