Top-Notch Christian Childcare Fostering Growth and Faith
Introducing Our Redeemer Daycare
Finding high-quality and affordable childcare can be a challenge for many families. At Our Redeemer Daycare, we aim to provide a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow while giving parents peace of mind. As a licensed daycare facility, we offer a balanced curriculum tailored to support children's development at each age and stage.
Our Philosophy and Values
Our daycare is founded on the principles of fostering creativity, building self-confidence, and instilling Christian values. We believe that every child is wonderfully made in God's image and has unique gifts and talents to share with the world.
Our teachers encourage children to ask questions, problem-solve, and take safe risks through play. By providing age-appropriate activities, we help each child reach important developmental milestones.
Ages and Groups We Serve
Our Redeemer Daycare accepts children ages six weeks to five years old. We divide children into separate classrooms and activity areas based on their ages and developmental levels. This ensures activities are stimulating but not too challenging.
Our infant room provides lots of cuddle time and sensory activities for babies ages six weeks to 18 months. The toddler room allows more independence and features learning centers like dramatic play, blocks and puzzles.
Our Nurturing Teachers
Our teachers and staff are the heart of our daycare. They build strong connections with each child through affection, empathy and respect.
All lead teachers have degrees in early childhood education or a related field. They tailor activities each day to help children grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.
We maintain high staff-to-child ratios so teachers can fully engage with each student. Our low turnover means children see familiar faces each day.
Our Curriculum Framework
Our daycare chooses activities, field trips and lessons to align with key early learning standards. We use research-based curriculums as our framework to support goals for what children should know and be able to do at each stage.
Areas of Focus
We organize our days to address all domains of child development. Areas we focus on include:
- Physical abilities like gross and fine motor skills
- Cognitive skills such as cause and effect reasoning
- Language and literacy via conversations, books and music
- Social-emotional growth through playing cooperatively
Daily Schedule and Activities
Our balanced daily schedule provides plenty of time for structured activities along with child-led free play. We incorporate both quiet and active times throughout the day.
Some of our daily activities include:
- Circle time with songs, fingerplays and stories
- Arts and crafts at the creativity station
- Pretend play and dress up in the dramatic play area
- Building with blocks and Lego sets
- Playing with puzzles, games and storytelling felt boards
Nutritious Meals and Snacks
Eating nutritious meals and snacks is vital to children’s growth and development. Our onsite cook plans well-balanced menus approved by a licensed dietician. We provide breakfast, lunch and two snacks each day.
Children help set and clear tables to build responsibility. Mealtimes teach social skills as kids chat around the table with their classmates.
We accommodate common food allergies and dietary restrictions. Our menus include whole grains, proteins, fruits and vegetables. We avoid serving sugary drinks and fried foods.
Our Bright, Welcoming Facility
Our Redeemer Daycare moved to a newly renovated facility in 2021. The building layout and decor create a peaceful, homelike environment while meeting state safety and program standards.
Spacious classrooms feature bright colors, organized storage and cute decor. We display children’s artwork and projects showing their growth across the year.
Kids delight in playing on our huge playground and fenced-in grass field. We also have a library, computer lab and gymnasium we use for music and movement.
Partnering with Parents
We view open communication with parents as the key to providing excellent care. Teachers share daily notes through our smartphone app highlighting each child’s activities, mood, eating and bathroom schedule.
We meet with parents before enrollment to learn about their hopes for their child. Then we have two annual parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress related to developmental checklists.
Parents can reach out any time with questions or concerns. We address issues promptly while keeping children’s best interests at heart.
Our goal is for the entire family feels part of the Our Redeemer Daycare community. We support parents on their parenting journey through resources, workshops and simply being good listeners.
